CURATE is a research project that investigates data quality in European law enforcement and border control.





RESEARCH QUESTION




What are the current data quality challenges in European law enforcement and border control cooperation and how can data quality be improved?



SCOPE AND METHODOLOGY




Research consists of three interrelated steps:

(1) Survey research among national law enforcement and border control organizations.

(2) In-depth case study research on data quality practices in selected countries.

(3) Development of tools to assist in improving data quality.
